Some new designs are coming in the next month or so.

The first one will be a small computer monitor speaker using the Seas W15CH and a Fountek CD3,0 tweeter. This is for a customer in Italy. Next will be a new 2 way using the Scan Speak 15W coated woofer and Scan Speak HDS tweeter. It'll use a RBR type box. Since the RBR is getting so much attention I thought I'd do something similar with the nice HDS tweeter for when they run out at madisound.

Well, they're out of stock on the RBR kits now, so what are you waiting for? Smile

Seriously, a 6.5" or 7" teamed with that tweeter would be amazingly desirable. If nicely discounted (similar % off as the RBR was), it would be hard to keep them stocked.

I agree, but I can't buy the huge volumes that madisound can to lower my pricing way below wholesale. I'll see what I can do though.

The RBR MK2 is ready for purchase. It features the Scan Speak HDS tweeter which has extremely low distortion-- even lower than the SB Acoustics tweeter used in the original RBR. It also has better top end extension and more detail as the result. Since it isn't all that much more expensive, has a nice cast frame, and just looks stealth, I thought people wouldn't mind paying a bit more. I wish I could offer the same RBR pricing for the MK2, but I can't get the mass quantities madisound got for the original RBR. I will offer 10% off all the parts and include free crossover assembly for a limited time. More details to follow. I've got to take some pictures this weekend and upload the information on the website, but if anyone wants an even better speaker than the original RBR for an incredible price, just let me know and I'll get you a quote.

Hand crafted in birds eye maple with 5 coats of gloss lacquer. These are going to Italy and the drivers are the Fountek Neo3 and Seas W15CH.

These are some really high end computer speakers! 6.5"W X 12H X 10.25"D

I designed these to go near a room boundary, so baffle step compensation was adjusted accordingly. Here's a few in room measurements!

Nearfield to see the woofer response below 250hz:
