Finished new SB Acoustics 7" TMM with Seas DXT tweeter for a customer

Here's the FR measured in room so don't mind the humps and bumps below 400hz. It was taken with a full gate, but it's really flat. This speaker sounds terrific and I may offer it up as a permanent kit on the main page:



The thing that is really great about the DXT tweeter is the off axis response. Even though it took quite a bit of shaping to get this FR 20 degrees off axis (note the shorter gate so the low end tails off for that reason):

very nice Jed. Question; being a 2 1/2 way, does that mean it generally has full BSC?

I used the 2nd woofer to "fill-in" the BSC, so in essence; yes. These will sound full if placed really close to a room boundary.

So this would be around 89db sensitivity?

Yes, but a 4 ohm load.
