Dynamic 1s

Post  matthew1975 on Thu Jul 30, 2009 9:24 am

I recently picked these up from Jed and was really impressed by them. The build quality was phenominal, I checked out the crossover build and the attention to detail was very evident. I tried them out with both music and movies and I thought they sounded great. I tried them out with the Dave Matthew/Tim Reynolds bluray the detail and clarity was great. Then I tried out the movie Transformers and once again everything sounded awesome I am very impressed at the bass these put out. I am using these as my mains for now, I can't help but wondering what the 2t or 4t sound like in comparison. I am gonna go with the 4cc for sure to complete the fronts. I appreciate the customer service on these and also on the next build, answering many questions in a timely fashion so I am able to complete my next build on the 4cc in a timely matter. Thanks for the great speakers and service.

I appreciate the feedback as well, Matthew. I hope they bring many years of listening enjoyment, and I'm looking forward to seeing your 4CC build next!

very nice - I've been thinking what great speakers those would be in a small to medium room when using a sub. Man if I had the money I'd probably be swapping out speakers every other month!

I hear yah... but at a certain point things start to have a different "flavor." Meaning, they are all good just different variations within the theme of great sound. The thing to do is not swap them out, but have a variety of speakers at your disposal so you can pick the flavor you want given your appetite! Very Happy

For example I'm working on a small monitor at the moment and there really is something nice about it even though it'll never move the same amount of air as say one of my big 3 way speakers.

Trust me you won't find my wood working skills on the 4cc worth the attention. I agree zero if I could afford it I would try a new speaker every month also, just ask my wife. Jed I am sure the monitors your working on are great but I can't wait to start moving alot of air with the 4cc Very Happy
