You're D4 looks a bit taller than the one posted at htguide.com Everything else is looking good. You might open up the mid holes a bit more to about 4".

Wow!!! This is going to be awesome! By the way, you might look into carving a 45 degree chamfer to open up the mids opening more around the cone. It looks like your mid tunnels don't have this yet. The RS180 could benefit from that as well.

Thanks Jed. Here are some more. Black laminate was used for the sides, silver paint for the front, and stained cherry hardwood for the sub baffles. I'm extremely happy with way they turned out.

Very nice work! I love the cherry hardwood accents. Works well with the black and silver. Your idea for the outrigger feet is neat. Hard to tell from the pics but did you use a flat base extending outward at the four corners reinforced with the blocks on top?

EDIT: Just spoke with him, yes the outrigger feet are mounted to a base. They are held together with the bolt for the spikes.

Those speakers are beautiful. You are very fortunate to have these waiting for you on your return. I hope you enjoy them and can give us a report on their sound sometime. Your dad is very skilled at wood working and I hope he gets a very nice gift as a thank you.
